I have posted Bob's full diary in chronological order (with a recent update he emailed me) on my blog. I am linking it to Wikipedia for more info about specific people, pop culture references, places, etc. Ideally, it would be nice to have on a wiki--perhaps Wikisource eventually.

I have some questions about people, though:

Sept. 8/44 (Paris)
Constance - Constance Reich Critchfield? On Wikipedia, a search comes up with a "Constance" and "Gehlen" on James H. Critchfield (which mentions Reinhard Gehlen but it mentions Critchfield's former wife who died in 1944.

BOB: "Constance" refers to my wife, Connie, who I had just met.

OK, thanks. I just thought it was odd I found a "Constance" and "Gehlen" on the same page in the time period mentioned...

Oh and I have a preliminary Wikisource version of your diary up as a subpage of mine, but not sure how long it'll last, as I don't have much experience with Wikisource beaurocracy (regarding notability and such).

BOB: It's all gravy hereon in/out considering what you've already created.

Sleeper used to have time to do what you've done but now he has work-slack. We here at Dobbstown are glad you showed up at alt.slack. That forum continues to inevitably pour gold on me.

We salute you, Eep.

Now I'm off to spread the word!!

Regarding your Jan. 27/55 (Toronto) entry, who is "Bassett"--John Bassett (he and McLuhan appear on Wikipedia's "List of Companions of the Order of Canada") and Balbus? Also, is "Carpenter", Edmund "Ted" Carpenter?

BOB: Yes, on Bassett and Carpenter.

"Balbus" is from a famous phrase by Joyce, "Balbus was building a wall", in A PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST AS A YOUNG MAN. See:

BOB: And what a great day to post it, Eep!!

Born on May 29th:

John F. Kennedy
Mae Brussell
John Hinckley, Jr.
Bob Hope

And the day, in 1953, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay climbed to the top of Mount Everest.

"Mountain" is in my quadrant on the Tiny Note Chart.

Interesting, considering a recent update I did on Wikipedia's where I created the Mountain peak page (but mostly on the 28th and it was moved to "Mountain peak (disambiguation)")...but what is the significance (aside from coincidence/synchronicity)?

Do you have a text version of that chart (so it's easy to search for words/phrases)? If not, I can make one...

BOB: None that I'm aware of. Go ahead.

BonEcho's "slick" version is text, somewhat.

Thanks. It's still not searchable though, unfortunately.

Wikisource is having an issue about the copyright. Do you release your diary under, say, GNU Free Documentation License ("Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this license document, but changing it is not allowed.") or another one on http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Wikisource:Copyright_policy ?

See http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/User_talk:Eep%C2%B2 for more info, but now you need to email your "explicit release to permissions@wikimedia.org from a email address that can be traced to him. i.e. not a gmail account)".
