Bob Dobbs infiltrates the Church of the SubGenius, with Chad Nantais.

Dobbs spoke but they cut him off with the "delay button" so you don't hear it.

Sean's eloquent review:

[[ The BOBiON encounter with The Sub-Genii this week was as we say here in angle-land 'bob on! guys' : )

What struck me upon reflection, is how myLOM (labyrinth of mind) may have once judged the cashflow/payday variety of dent-ertainment to be everything the Sub-Genii revealed of themselves in that short window of tomfoolery, which I have to say was trying way too hard to be unusual, avant-garde and different, and coming across somewhat incoherent and lame, as if some ghostly resonance of lost college boy adolescent humour, stuck forever in its mode, funny for five seconds and then recognised to be hardly even funny the first time.

Whack! Is another word we'd use for it here, as in Whack Job : ) (whack Jobe perhaps?! Yes, lets; RIP)

So what you guys did in that smart unfettered segment of sonically documented infiltration, it was nothing short of magical, the veil lifted, I got to see/feel/hear the direct comparison of what is and what proposes to be, the real depth of cosmic irony (as played out in iONDOM) and the childish fumbling rather weak mimicking of it, and in the most unexpected and unlikely mashup of metaphors and exchanges, a quality one comes to expect but rarely (if ever) can predict of PayDay, its subtle hallmak.

Of course, the SubG's are to be warmly thanked for their stellar albeit unwitting participation. And finally, the linchpin of the whole episode, unassuming, 'like' a true wing-chung master, Chad seeded a potential, opened up a lil channel, and BOOM, the church and its likeness revealed itself in its not-ness while still maintaining to be some-thingness, all by itself, with no further effort required by anyone, except some minor yet crafty prompting.

A true demonstration of Slack...

Wonderful job, just perfect! ]]
